St Michaels GAA Notes

Academy

U5 & U7 gave a great display of football for their last blitz game against Geevagh on Friday evening.  We'll done to everyone involved. We look forward to seeing everyone for our last training session for this year on Friday evening. Keep up the great football skills during the winter.






U 13 Boys


Best of luck to the St Michaels and St Ronans under 13 boys who are scheduled to play their Division Two Championship Final against Kilglass Gaels/St Barry's on Saturday 2nd October at 4pm in Strokestown.



LGFA

The Junior girls were defeated on Sunday by Shannon Gaels.


The under 14 girls won the Tommy Noone Northern league competition by beating Northern Harps in the final last Thursday. Well done to the girls and management





The under 10/ 12 girls play Leitrim Gaels away on Wednesday next.

 Winter training programme for U14/16/Junior women will start up on Friday October 8th.
The programme will be given by Stephen, Donal, Joe and Michael and will run for 10 weeks. It aim is to keep the girls interested, active and also a bit of a social outlet as well for them.
We will have a registration fee of €10 for each girl, all monies will go towards buying new footballs  and equipment.
Anyone interested in joining please let Joe Daly,   Michael Bruen,  Dawn O Connor or Aileen Daly know.


Roscommon LFGA 50/ 50 tickets are now available  We had a lot of winners on these last year, raising € 950 for the girls club

They cost  €50 each  a draw takes place  every 2nd week.  If any one wants to pair up and go halves each on a ticket, just let us know!

Lotto

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot on 19th September 2021

The numbers drawn were 16, 21, 24, 28. There were no match three winners. The five lucky dips winners of €20 each are Donal Kelly, Geraldine McCafrey, David Guckian, Ella & Abagail Moran and Leo & Annie Noone.
