 Connacht Champions

Congratulations to Fiachra Henry and the Roscommon under 20s on a hugely impressive defeat of Mayo in Castlebar in the Connacht championship final last Wednesday. Hopefully this is just a stepping stone to even greater things for this very talented panel of players.


Congratulations also to Sean Moran and the Roscommon under 17s who defeated Mayo in the Connacht Minor Championship on Friday and now take on Galway in the semi-final next weekend.


Well done to our club representatives on the Roscommon under 15 development panel, Ruadhan Henry, Barry Monahan, Shane O'Dowd and Daniel Regan, who are taking part in the Connacht blitz tournaments at the Centre of Excellence this month.




Underage Boys

The under 15 boys just about maintained their unbeaten status in the Division 2 championship  after a hard-earned draw with home side Castlerea on Tuesday evening.

The under 13 boys got their first win in the Division 2 championship with a six point victory over visitors Michael Glaveys after a lively contest in sundrenched Ardcarne Park on Thursday.

This week, our u13s play St Dominic's in Knockcroghery on Monday 26th in Division 4. Our u15s play Western Gaels in Ardcarne Park on Tuesday 27th in Division 2 and play Kilmore/Shannon Gaels on Thursday in Ballyfarnon in Division 4. All games at 7.30pm.


LGFA

A very exciting week on the football pitch our under 12 girls won their county 3 B final against Westen with a score line 11 to 7.  All the Girls game in warm and difficult conditions. Thank so much To Management Team Theresa White Thomas Morahan Ray Lynam and Charlene  Morahan.  Players are: Clodagh Healy, Eabha Simon, Ava Regan, Emily Quinn, Gemma Beirne, Bricanna Guckian. Sinead Cryan, Sarah Jane Simon, Aoife Flynn, Kyra McTiernan,  Àine Gallagher, Jessica Lavin, Emily Corcoran, Caoimhe Rynn, Alanna Guckian, Katie O Connor, Dearbhla  Morahan, Kate Curry and Lauren Morahan




The under 14 girls beat St Ciarans in their Semi Final on Thursday last.

They now looking forward to an A Final against Kilmore Thursfay the 5th


The under 16 girls play Castlerea on Tuesday the 27th in a semi final.


The Junior girls are away to St Brigids on Wednesday next.


Well done to Roscommon under 16 team who beat Leitrim and now face Sligo in the Connacht B final and especially to our players Leah Mc Cawley and Carrie Earley


Best of luck to Clodagh Daly who under 14 county panel and Joe Daly member of the management team on Monday when they play Sligo in round 4 of the Connacht Series.


Lotto

There was no winner of this weeks lotto draw. The next draw will take place on 8th August and the jackpot is €2,100. There were 5 lucky dips winners (€20 each) Louise Lehany, Helen McHugh, Conor Moffatt, Anne Lenehan and Dermot & Heather Lane.
