Weekly Update

The Intermediate Team have two games in the O Gara Cup League this week, first they play Kilglass Gaels on Tuesday, the 23rd of April 2013 at Newtowncashel at 8.30pm and then they play  St Brigid's on Friday, the 26th of April at Kiltoom at 8.30pm.

 

The U18 Team play St Ronan's in the U18 Div 3 League on Tuesday, the 23rd of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm.

 

The U14 Boys Team play their first game of the league against St Croan's in the U14 Div 3 League on Thursday, the 25th of April 2013 at Enfield at 7.00pm.

 

The U12 Girls play against Strokestown in the U12 championship, Round 2, Group B1 on Wednesday next, the 24th of April 2013 at Strokestown at 7.00pm. 

 

The Lotto draw was held in Clancy's Bar, Cleen, Knockvicar on Sunday last, the 21st of April 2013, for a jackpot of € 6,900.00. The numbers drawn were 4, 5, 17, 22. There was no Jackpot Winner, Two match 3 winners, €50 each; Shay Morahan, Cortober and Mary Cox, Keadue. The next draw is in The Watersplash Bar, Cootehall on Sunday, the 5th of May 2013, for a jackpot of € 7,000.00.   

Training continues for Minor, U16s and U14s players during the week.

 

Training for U6s and U8s on Friday next, the 26th of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park from 7.00pm to 8.00pm.

 

Training for U12 Boys on Thursday next, the 25th of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm.

Training for U12 and U14 Girls on Monday next, the 29th of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 6.30pm.

 

The Club would like to extend its condolences to the family and relations of the late Margaret Foley (RIP), Drumsillagh, Cootehall and also to the family and relations of the late Jim Mc Dermott (RIP), Knockvicar.

 

Tickets for the 2013 County Board Members Draw are now available from the Club at €100. By supporting this draw you are supporting your Club and County. The draw is on the 15th of June 2013. There are 20 Prizes in the Draw, with the first prize of € 35,000.00.

The Club's Annual Golf Classic is on Saturday, the 11th of May 2013 at Carrick on Shannon Golf Club.

 

Good luck to all Club members who are taking part in the Crossna Dramatic Society three act comedy called ' My Wife's Family in Crossna Community Centre on Friday and Saturday next, the 26th and the 27th of April 2013 at 8.30pm.
