Weekly Update

The Intermediate Team defeated Michael Glavey's in the O Gara Cup League, on Sunday last, the 14th of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park.

The U18 Team were defeated by St Dominic's in the U18 Div 3 League on Tuesday last, the 9th of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park.

The U14 Girls Team were defeated in the Feile against St Ciaran's on Monday last, the 8th of April 2013.

The U12 Girls play against St Barry's in the U12 championship Group B1 on Wednesday next, the 17th of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm.

The Lotto draw was called off as a mark of respect to the bereavements within the Club, and will now be held in Clancy's Bar, Cleen, Knockvicar on Sunday next, the 21st of April 2013, for a jackpot of € 6,900.00.

Training continues for Minor and U16s players during the week.

Training for U6s and U8s on Friday next, the 19th of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

Training for U12 Boys on Thursday next, the 16th of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm.

Training for U12 and U14 Girls on Monday next, the 22nd of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 6.30pm.

The Club would like to extends its condolences to the Family and Relations of the late Teresa Mc Dermott (RIP), Gloria, Cootehall, especially the Sweeny and Conlisk families, who have been involved in the Club, also to the Family and Relations of the late Tommy Conlon (RIP), Curratrench, Crossna, especially to our secretary Nuala O Hara and Family and to Mary Regan and Family, also involved in the Club, also to the Martin Family, Cortrasna on the death of Ann's father, the late Jimmy Noone (RIP), Strokestown, also to the Family and Relations of the late Martin Joe Fryer (RIP), Clooneybrien, Cootehall, and to the Family and Relations of the late Sarah Mc Loughlin (RIP), Annagh, Keadue.

Tickets for the 2013 County Board Members Draw are now available from the Club at €100. By supporting this draw you are supporting you Club and County. The draw is on the 15th of June 2013.

There are 20 Prizes in the Draw, with the first prize of € 35,000.00.

The Club's Annual Golf Classic is on Saturday, the 11th of May 2013 at Carrick on Shannon Golf Club.
