Weekly Update

The Intermediate Team had a busy week, with two games in the O Gara Cup League last week, first they defeated Kilglass Gaels on Tuesday last, the 23rd of April 2013 at Newtowncashel and then they defeated St Brigid's on Friday last, the 26th of April at Kiltoom. They are to play against Fuerty this weekend at Mulheron Park, Fuerty in the O Gara Cup League. Check fixtures for time and date.

The U18 Team defeated St Ronan's in the U18 Div 3 League on Tuesday last, the 23rd of April 2013 at Ardcarne Park.

The U14 Boys Team were defeated away to St Croan's in the U14 Div 3 League on Thursday last, the 25th of April 2013 at Enfield.

The U12 Girls were defeated by Strokestown in the U12 championship, Round 2, Group B1 on Wednesday last, the 24th of April 2013 at Strokestown. 

They play away against St Mary's this Wednesday, the 1st of May 2013 in the U12 Championship, Round 3, Group B1 at Tulsk at 7.00pm.

The Lotto draw is in The Watersplash Bar, Cootehall on Sunday next, the 5th of May 2013, for a jackpot of € 7,000.00.   

Training continues for Minor, U16s and U14s players during the week.

Training for U6s and U8s on Friday next, the 3rd of May 2013 at Ardcarne Park from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

Training for U12 Boys on Thursday next, the 2nd of May 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm.

Training for U12 and U14 Girls on Monday next, the 6th of May 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 6.30pm.

A Club Meeting will take place on Tuesday Night next, the
30th of April 2013 at the Ardcarne Park Sports Complex at 9.00pm.

The Club would like to extends its condolences to the Gillespie Family, Ballyfermoyle on the death of Clive's Mother, the late Sheila Gillespie (RIP), Sion Mills, Strabane, Co Tyrone and also to the Lynch Family, Kilmacarril on the death of Patrica's uncle, the late Bert Gilhooley (RIP), Kent, England and also to the Gallagher Family, Mounteagle on the death of Pat's father.

Tickets for the 2013 County Board Members Draw are now available from the Club at €100. By supporting this draw you are supporting you Club and County. The draw is on the 15th of June 2013.

There are 20 Prizes in the Draw, with the first prize of € 35,000.00.

The Club's Annual Golf Classic is on Saturday, the 11th of May 2013 at Carrick on Shannon Golf Club. More details next week.

Congratulations to Sorcha Bruen, who captain the Roscommon Ladies Minor Team to victory over Sligo in the Connacht Ladies Minor Championship on Saturday last, the 27th of April 2013 at Ballyfarnon and Good Luck in the Connacht Ladies Minor Final this coming weekend.

Congratulations also to those from the Club Area, who were part of the Shannon Gael U16 Ladies Team, who defeated Clann na nGael in the Div 1 League Final on Sunday last, the 28th of May 2013 at Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon. 

The Club would like to wish the best of luck to Club Footballer Barrach Doherty, who is getting married to Sharon Fitzpatrick on Saturday next, the 4th of May 2013 in Cootehall.
