Well done to the u14 girls who got their league campaign off to a promising start on Thursday last with a late late show against St Mary's Tulsk. Two goals in the last few minutes saw our girls take the win on a 3-7 to 3-3 scoreline.

Our u12 girls continued their season with good performances over the last week. The Division 2 team (2011s) were pipped by St Barry's on Sunday 14th but were victorious at home to Kilbride on Sunday 21st, while the Division 4 team (2012s) took the spoils on Monday evening in Castlerea.

Congratulations to our Division 5 team who beat Shannon Gaels at Ardcarne Park in last Friday.

The Tansey Cup team plays Strokestown away this Friday at 8pm while, on Saturday at 4pm, the Division 5 team also plays Strokestown away.

UNDERAGE BOYS

Well done to our u18 boys who have finished top of a very competitive Division 3 league. We wish them the best of luck as they now host Tulsk at 7.30pm on Thursday evening in Ardcarne Park in the league semi-final.

It was a quiet week on the playing front with only our u14 boys in action against Elphin-Ballinameen in Ardcarne Park on Tuesday. In a high-scoring affair, the visitors took the spoils on a 6-11 to 6-6 scoreline. Our u14s have a bye this week. Their next outing will be in a league semi-final.

Connacht Minor Championship Semi-final

Commiserations to Ruadhán Henry, Shane O'Dowd and the Roscommon Minor team and management who suffered a heart-breaking loss to Mayo in the dying seconds on Friday evening. Ruadhán produced another mature performance at centre half back and himself and Shane are to be commended for their dedication and commitment throughout the months of preparation for the campaign.
