TANSEY CUP

Well done to our adult men, sponsored by Joe Simon Home, Garden & Hardware, who recorded a fifth league win of the season on Saturday evening in Ardcarne Park. After a cautious low-scoring opening half, the home team dominated the second period to secure the points on a scoreline of St Michael's 2-11  St Dominic's 0-5. St Barry's are the next visitors to Ardcarne Park on Friday 12th May, with throw-in at 8pm while the same clubs meet at 11.30am on Sunday 14th May in Tarmonbarry in the Division 5 League.

UNDERAGE BOYS

Well done to our u18 boys who delivered an impressive performance in Knockcroghery on Thursday last winning on a final scoreline of St Michael's-St Ronan's 0-19  St Dominic's 0-10.

Our under 16 Division 1 boys finished their league campaign on Monday last with a loss to a strong Kilmore-Shannon Gaels side, while on Sunday, the Division 4 team were pipped by a strong final quarter from Padraig Pearses.

This week, our u18 boys play Elphin-Ballinameen in Ballyfarnon on Thursday at 7.30pm, the u16 Boys have their final Division 4 game at 7.30pm on Friday in Tarmonbarry against Kilglass Gaels-St Barry's, while the u14 boys visit Tulsk, also at 7.30pm on Friday. Best of luck to all our teams.

ROSCOMMON U15 FÉILE

Our u15 Boys competed in the County Féile Division 2 Blitz in Castlerea on Saturday last. The Boys showed tremendous determination and character to come back from a seven point second half deficit to earn a draw in their semi-final against Oran-St Croan's, before emerging victorious after a gruelling extra time. The final against Kilmore-Shannon Gaels was just as exciting. Our boys held a one point advantage at the interval, but fatigue eventually took its toll with the lads losing out by a 3pt margin. Many thanks to all the players, their coaches and supporters.
