16th April. Throw-in is at 12pm and all support is welcome.
JUNIOR B LEAGUE
Hard luck to our Junior B men and their management
who were narrowly defeated by Tulsk on Saturday evening. They came back from a
10pt deficit near the end of the first half, to draw level with 10 minutes
remaining. Unfortunately Tulsk's stronger finish took the spoils. Full time: St
Michael's 3-9 Tulsk 2-15.
CONNACHT MINOR CHAMPIONSHIP
We wish the best of luck to Ruadhan Henry and

SCÓR NA nÓG CONNACHT FINALS
Best wishes to our talented musicians from St Michael's who represent Roscommon in the Connacht Scór na nÓg Finals in Ballinasloe Town Hall on Sunday 16th April at 2pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated for our Instrumental Music Group of Brianna, Rachel & Ronan Guckian and Caitlyn & Éabha Simon as they compete for the Connacht title! UNDERAGE BOYS
The St Michaels/St
Ronans underage boys teams got their 2023 seasons underway last week. The under 16 boys visited Enfield for their opening
Division 1 game on Tuesday. They were very slow out of the blocks and trailed
by 12pts early in the second half. However they eventually got into their
stride and were on level terms as the game entered the closing stages.
Unfortunately the home side regained the initiative to finish on top on a final
scoreline of Oran-St Croan's 6-10 St Michael's-St Ronan's 3-11.
The under 14 boys travelled to Tarmonbarry on
Wednesday and returned with the points after a great team performance. Final
score: Kilglass Gaels-St Barry's 3-5 St Michael's-St Ronan's 5-11.
On Thursday the minor boys hosted Kilglass
Gaels-St Barry's in Ardcarne Park. After a very entertaining contest the points
were shared, St Michael's-St Ronan's 1-10 Kilglass Gaels-St Barry's 2-7.
The under 16 boys Division 4 team rounded off the
week with a rip-roaring shootout in Ballyfarnon on Good Friday. Unfortunately
our massive final score of 6-13 was one point shy of St Faithleach's total of
8-8.
This week, the u16 Boys have a Division 1 game on
Monday against Castlerea in Ardcarne Park, and a Division 4 game on Friday
against Kilmore-Shannon Gaels in Croghan, both due to throw-in at 7pm.
Meanwhile the u14 boys host Castlerea on Thursday in Ardcarne Park at 7pm. Best
of luck to all our teams.
