to Joe Daly Tom Murphy Dawn O Connor and Hilda Daly.
The under 16 girls were beaten on Sunday in the 2 A
championship final by a stronger Padraig Pearses team. A very talent
group of players which going forward will help build our adult team. Thanks to
Stephen McGuinness, Donal Kelly, Michael Bruen, Hilary McCawley and Olive
Healy.
Thanks to both St Ronans and St Michaels for
treating all the girls after their finals. Thanks to Dawn for organising the
food on both days.
The under 12 girls were beaten by just one score in
the Northern League final vs Castlerea on Monday last.
This huge squad has developed so well under the
guidance of Theresa Whyte, Charlene Morahan, Fergal Morahan, Colm Martin, Ray
Lynam and Stephen Carty They have taken part in 3 competitions. They also
were a number of friendly games for the under 10 girls. We also want to
thank Conor McLoughlin for his help with the under 10s.

UNDERAGE
Our Under 13 Boys hosted Castlerea in Ardcarne Park
on Thursday last with a place in the championship semi-finals at stake. Two
early goals helped the visitors jump into an early lead. The home side battled
valiantly to reduce the deficit to just 3pts with ten minutes remaining but
couldn't fully bridge the gap. Full-time: St Michael's-St Ronan's 2-7
Castlerea 4-6.
Our Under 15 Boys played Castlerea in the Division
1 championship on Monday last in Ballyfarnon. At the end of a well-contested
game, the visitors took the spoils on a 1-10 to 1-4 scoreline.
The Under 17 Boys travelled to Ballyleague on
Wednesday to play a strong St. Faithleach's team. No quarter was asked nor
given in a wholehearted championship contest. With both defences on top and
scores hard-earned, it was the home side who did just enough to emerge
victorious by 2-6 to 1-6.
JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP:
Congratulations to our men's team who defeated
Boyle in the third round of the Junior championship on Sunday by 1-12 to 11pts
to secure their place in the quarter-finals in a fortnight's time.
