JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

Best of luck to our men's team who play Boyle in the third round of the Junior championship on Sunday, throw-in is at 4.30pm in Abbey Park, Boyle, and all support is welcome.

UNDERAGE

Well done to the Under 13 Boys who recorded their fourth win of the championship against St Croan's on Thursday evening last. They now face a winner-take-all clash with Castlerea on Thursday 15th at 6.30pm in Ardcarne Park with a place in the semi-finals at stake.

St Michaels/St Ronans  under 15 Boys are also looking to secure a semi-final place when they play Castlerea in the Division 1 championship on Monday 12th at 6.45pm in Ballyfarnon.

The Under 17 Boys entertained an unbeaten Castlerea side in Ardcarne Park on Wednesday last. Torrential rain in the opening half made conditions difficult but the home side adapted quicker and held an impressive eight-point lead at the interval. However, the visitors gained control after the break, gradually narrowing the deficit and eventually moving ahead thanks to two late goals. After the proverbial "game of two halves", the score at full-time was: St Michael's-St Ronan's 1-9 Castlerea 2-11. Next up for the u17s is a visit to Ballyleague on Wednesday 14th Sept (at 6.45pm) to play St. Faithleach's.

Best of luck to all our teams this week.

Commiserations to our Under 20 team and management who lost out to a stronger Kilbride side in their championship semi-final on Friday last.
