Underage

Our underage teams maintained their busy schedule with lots of games last week. 

Our Under 17s had a competitive outing with Padraig Pearses on Monday taking the spoils on a 4-12 to 2-7 scoreline.

Monday also saw our Under 15s take on a strong Kilmore/Shannon Gaels side in the Division 1 Féile semi-final in Woodmount. The boys put in a superb team performance, and were unlucky to be held to a draw after an exciting contest (4-2 to 3-5). Ten minutes of extra time couldn't separate the sides, both scoring a point, with our lads eventually losing out 3-2 in a free kick competition. The u15 Division 4 team also had encouraging performances against Tulsk and Clann na Gael during the week while the Under 13s were defeated by Western Gaels in Frenchpark on Sunday. 

 

This week, the u13s host Tulsk in Ardcarne Park at 7pm on Thursday.

The u15s have two important Division 1 games, visiting Castlerea at 7pm on Tuesday and entertaining Roscommon Gaels in Ardcarne Park on Sunday (TBC). The u17s play Castlerea away at 7pm on Friday. Best of luck to all teams.

 

Men

Our Tansey Cup team had a tremendous tussle with Kilglass Gaels in Ardcarne Park on Saturday evening with the points shared on a scoreline of 1-9 each.

Next Sunday the Division 5 team return to action with a home game against Michael Glaveys at 12pm.

 

 

LGFA

The under 16 girls play their final on Sunday the 15th at 7.30 in Croghan.  They play Eire Og.

 

The under 14 girls play St Ciarans away on Thursday evening.

 

 

The Older Under 12 team were beaten by St Brigids. They play Shannon Gaels away.

The younger 12 bet Roscommon Gaels on Monday last, good luck to them as they play St Faithleachs away on Monday evening.

 

 

Best of luck to Leah Mc Cawley and Chloe McGuinness part of the Roscommon under 16 team who play Sligo in the Connacht A Final on Saturday the 14^th May
