St. Michaels Notes

1^st May 2022

 

LGFA

The Junior girls had competitive game vs Northern Harps on Sunday in Ardcarne Park. They were only beaten in the last twenty minutes of the game. Thanks to all who played and especially our new players, thanks to Anthony.  They now have the championship to look forward to later in the summer.

 The under 14 girls had a comfortable win over Oran last Thursday. They play Shannon Gaels on Thursday 5th.

 The older 12 girls were beaten by just 2 scores in Castlerea on Sunday in their first division 2 game.

The younger under 12 girls play Roscommon Gaels in Ardcarne Park on Monday evening.

The under 10 girls enjoyed a friendly game against Northern Harps on Wednesday last.

 Well done to Caoimhe Rynn who played the half time in the Roscommon vs Sligo game on Saturday.

 Best of luck to Roscommon minor team who play Sligo in the B final on Monday 2nd May.

 Best of luck to Roscommon under 16 team especially Leah McCawley and Chloe McGuinness who play Sligo in the A Final on Saturday the 14th May.

 Best of luck to Roscommon intermediate team who play Leitrim in the Connacht final on Sunday the 15th

 Underage

St Michaels/St Ronans underage teams have another busy week ahead. 

The Under 13 boys play Western Gaels at 12.30pm on Sunday 8th in Frenchpark.

 

On bank holiday Monday morning (2nd May), the Under 15 boys travel to Woodmount to compete in Division 1 of the Roscommon Féile blitz.

The under 15 Division 4 team play Tulsk on Thursday at 7pm in Ballyfarnon. 

The Under 17s play Padraig Pearses in Ballyfarnon at 6.30pm on Monday evening (2nd) and play Castlerea away at 7.15pm on Wednesday (4th).
