St. Michaels is a rural GAA Club based in North County Roscommon with it's home ground at Ardcarne Park. The Club colours are Green and Red.

Weekly Update
After extra time the St Michael's Intermediate Team defeated St Barry's in the Quarter Finals of the Roscommon Intermediate Championship on Saturday last at a wet Abbey Park in Boyle. St Barry's started the game with a point from the thrown but St Michael's responded with two frees from Ronan Cox. Niall Conlon then pulled a great save from the St Barry's Goalkeeper. St Barry's hit goal after 20 minutes of the first half. Ronan Martin replied with a free for St Michael's. A St Barry's free was cancelled out by a Kevin Mc Dermott's point from play. St Barry's then hit St Michael's for 1-01 in the next five minutes. Ronan Cox netted a goal for St Michael's from a free. St Barry's finished the first half scoring with a point from play. Half Time Score St Michael's 1-04 St Barry's 2-05. A free from Ronan Martin was cancelled out by a St Barry's point from play in the early stages of the second half. Then St Barry's had a goal chance, as the ball rebound off the crossbar. From this stage, St Michael's took control, with points from play from Kevin Mc Dermott, Ronan Cox, Paul Simon, Ronan Martin and Niall Conlon to leave the score line reading St Michael's 1-10 St Barry's 2-06 as the game entered injury time. St Barry's drew the game level with a free and so to extra time we did go. In the first period of extra time St Michael's extended their lead to three points, with scores coming from Ronan Martin, two frees and a point from play and a Niall Conlon point from play. St Barry's replied was a single point from play. Half Time of Extra Time St Michael's 1-14 St Barry's 2-08. St Barry's started the second period of extra time well with two quick points to leave the minimum between the sides with four minutes to go. But a James Reynolds goal and points from play from Liam Conlon and Ronan Martin gave St Michael's a six point winning margin. Final Score St Michael's 2-16 St Barry's 2-10. The Team now play neighbours Boyle in the County Intermediate Semi Final on Sunday next, the 15th of September 2013 at 1.00pm in the New GAA Grounds in Strokestown. Please support the Team.
The U14 Boys Team were defeated by Kilglass/St Barry's in Ardcarne Park in the Div 3 U14 Championship on Thursday last, the 5th of September 2013. They play against St Croan's in Enfield in the Div 3 U14 Championship on Thursday next, the 12th of September 2013 at 6.30pm.
Training for U6s, U8s and U10s on Friday next, the 13th of September 2013 at Ardcarne Park from 6.30pm. The U14 Girls Team play against Shannon Gaels at Ardcarne Park in a re fixed Championship game on Wednesday next, the 11th of September 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm,
The U12 summer League continied this week. The Green Team were defeated by St Faithleach at Ardcarne Park in the U12 Summer League Group C on Sunday last, the 8th of September 2013. The Red Team were defeated by St Barry's in Tarmonbarry in the U12 Summer League Group F. On Friday next, the 6th of September 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 6.30pm, The Red Team played against Boyle in Group F on Monday last, the 9th September 2013. More details next week. The play against Kilglass on Monday, the 16th of September 2013 in Kilglass at 6.30pm. On Sunday next, the 15th of September 2013 at Mulheron Park, Fuerty at 11.00am, the Green Team play against St Ciaran's in Group C.
Training for U21, U18, U16, U14, U12 Boys and U12 and U14 Girls during the week. Coaches will notify.
The Lotto draw was held in The Bogside Inn, Derreenadooney on Sunday last, the 8th of September 2013 for a Jackpot of € 7,900.00. The numbers drawn were 2, 8, 18, 26. There was no Jackpot winner. One match 3 winners, € 100.00, Tommy and Maura Noone, Derrycashel, Corrigreenroe. The next draw is in Henry's Bar, Cootehall on Sunday, the 22nd of September 2013 for a Jackpot of € 8,000.00.
The U8 Team and U10 Team will be taking part in the County Go Game Blitzs over the next few Saturdays. On Saturday last, the 7th of September 2013, The U8 Team travel to St Faithleach, where the Team were grouped in Group C with games against St Faithleach, Oran and Tulsk. Thanks to the St Faithleach.
The U10 Team is out on Saturday next, the 14th of September 2013 in the U10 County Go Games Blitzs at Tulsk at 11.00am. The U10 Team are also grouped in Group C, with games against St Faithleach, Oran and Tulsk,
The Club would like to extends its condolences to the O Hara family, Oxhill and Derreenargon on the death of the late Mick O Hara (RIP), Oxhill, and to the O Connor Family, Lurga on the death of the late Millie O Connell (RIP) Abbeyleix.
