Weekly Update

The St Michael's Intermediate Team play St Barry's in the Quarter Finals of the Roscommon Intermediate Championship on Saturday next, the 7th September 2013 at the Abbey Park, Boyle at 5.30pm. Please support the Team. The Junior against St Ronan's due to be played last weekend was cancelled. The U14 Boys Team play Kilglass/St Barry's in Ardcarne Park in the Div 3 U14 Championship on this Thursday at 7.00pm. Training for U6s, U8s and U10s on Friday from 6.30pm. The U14 Girls Team play Shannon Gaels at Ardcarne Park in a refixed game during the week. More details on this during the week. The U12 summer League started last week. The Green Team defeated Kilbride in Kilbride while the Red Team were defeated by St Barry's in Tarmonbarry. On Friday next the Red Team take on Boyle at Ardcarne Park at 6.30pm and on Sunday next the green team play St. Faithleachs at Ardcarne Park at 12.00pm. Training for U21, U18, U16, U14, U12 Boys and U12 and U14 Girls during the week. Coaches will notify. The Lotto draw is in The Bogside Inn, Derreenadooney on Sunday next, the 8th of September 2013 for a Jackpot of € 7,900.00 On Saturday next, the 7th of September 2013, the U8 Team travel to St Faithleachs for a football blitz where they will play St Faithleach, Oran and Tulsk. The U10 Team is out on Saturday, the 14th of September 2013. More details on this next week. Hard Luck to the Roscommon Minor Team, who were defeated by Tyrone in the All Ireland Minor Semi Final in Croke Park on Sunday. Athlone Institute of Technology are running Evening Courses in respect of Sport, starting in the next few weeks. The Club would encourage anyone interested in these Courses to attend and the Club would assist where possible. If interested contact any Club Officer for more details.
