Best of luck to our Junior Team in the King and Moffatt
Building Service Junior A Football Championship Quarter Final on Sunday 22nd
September in Orchard Park against Roscommon Gaels. The games kicks off at 2pm
and your support will be greatly appreciated. Under 12 Boys
Our U.12 boys Division 5 team had a good win over Elphin
/Ballinameen in the Summer League on Saturday last. Our Division 2 team
also recorded a good win over Strokestown in the Keenan Cup in what was a very
entertaining game that yielded a combined total of almost sixty scores. Well
done to all our players and also to the opposing teams for very sporting games.
The Division 2 team progress to play Tulsk on this Monday evening in the Keenan
Cup while on Thursday evening, we travel to Kilbride for a Division 2 league
game.

6, 8 & 10
Our U6s and U8s year came to a fantastic end on Friday
evening when we hosted St Ronan’s for s very enjoyable blitz which included
U10s. Thanks to St Ronan’s for traveling, all who supported on the nights and
all the trainers and parents that supported us throughout the year. The U10s
will continue training for 4 more weeks at the usual time.

Family Fun Day
Our annual Family fun day was held at Beirnes of Battlebridge. A great day was had with a big crowd walking the blueway, great BBQ, music face painting and games. Thanks to all who organized supported and attended, and to Beirnes who hosted it so well.
Ladies
The combined Under 16 girls play St Faithleachs
in Division 4 Championship Final in early October best of luck players and
Management of Joan Tiernan and Harry Rynn. The combined Minor girls
play St Croans on the 29th September.
Best of luck to all the
players who take part in the Connacht Blitz on Sunday 22nd in The
Connacht Centre of Excellence.
Both the St Michael's and the St
Ronans girls attended the Ladies All Ireland on Sunday thanks to both clubs who
contributed to the cost of the bus. A great day was had by all.
Minor
The Ardcarne Garden centre sponsored St Michaels Minor lads
travelled to Kilmore to play Kilmore/Shannon Gaels/St Ronans on Thursday last.
Our lads got off to a good start and we went in ahead at half time leading 1-6
to 0-2. St Michaels continued to play well in the second half and a combination
of good defending and attack play meant we ran out winners on a scoreline of St
Michaels 1-13 Kilmore/Shannon Gaels/St Ronans 0-10. Panel M Reynolds, B ODowd,
