Junior
St. Michael’s play Clann na nGael next Saturday at 5.30pm in
Johnstown in the 3rd round of the Junior football championship. Your continued

St Michael's U14s have their next championship game at home
next Sunday, September 8th at 11 o'clock against St Ciaran's. All support
welcome.

Our U.12 Div 2 team were narrowly defeated by Shannon Gaels
in the Summer League in a very competitive game. The Div 5 team had two games,
firstly losing narrowly to St. Barry's before finishing the week with a good
win over Roscommon Gaels. The next Div 5 game is fixed for this Saturday
morning versus St. Ronan's in Ballyfarnan at 11am.
Under 12 Div 5 Team
Minor
St Michaels Ardcarne Garden
Centre sponsored Minor lads play Kilglass Barrys in the third round of
the championship at home on Thursday next at 7pm. All support appreciated.
Family
Fun Day
St Michaels annual family fun day takes place on Sunday 8th
September at 3pm. Meeting at Beirnes of Battlebridge for a 5km walk, followed
by a BBQ, music and face painting.
LGFA
The combined under 16 girls had a very convincing win over
Strokestown in round 2 of their championship last Tuesday in Kilronan park
Ballyfarnon. They play St Faithleach away on Tuesday next.
The Junior ladies play their semi-final in Ardcarne park on
Sunday the 8th at 12.15 they play Oran. This is a very young team who has
done well in their league and championship to date. This is their
first year as an adult team. Best wishes to the girls and management
Stephan McGuinness Theresa White and Maire Ni Donoghue.

Ireland on Sunday the 15th please contact Dawn Joan or
Aileen.
The ladies county board 50/ 50 tickets are now on sale.
Ticket cost €50.00 and you are enter into a monthly draw the winner wins €350.00
and the winning club wins 150 we had 3 winners this year , Theresa White, Jenny
Bruen and Joan Tiernan and Anne Marie Harte each won 350. and the club
