St. Michael's hosted a very successful U.8 blitz on Saturday morning last, teams that participated were St. Michael's, Kilglass, St. Croan's and Shannon Gaels. A big thank you to all who helped out to make the day a success.
The U.12's beat Kilglass in the first round of the Keenan Cup, they play Eire Og in the next round, players will be notified by text of details of game. Training is on Tuesday evening for U. 12's.
Our U.14's had a very successful week with wins over St. Brigids B and Roscommon Gaels B, their Championship semifinal may be this weekend ,see fixtures for details.
Well done to Keelan McDermott and Enda Farrell who with Roscommon U.16's are through to the Ted Webb Final on Monday 4th August against Galway in Ballyhaunis.
LADIES FOOTBALL: Our U8/10's played Shannon Gaels during the week and are due to play Boyle on Monday in Ardcarne Park. Training continues for U.12 and 14's on Monday evenings from 7 to 8pm.
The Club Rossie Evening at the Races takes place at Roscommon Racecourse on Tuesday August 5th. Tickets are priced at €20 and include Entry to the Course, A Free Bet, Finger Food, Access to reserves Seating Area and entry to a Special Draw with prizes including a two night break for two at the Galway Bay Hotel, Vouchers to the value of €100 from local businesses, Club Rossie Goodie Bags and more. Tickets also include admission the Club Rossie After Party in Carthy's Bar, Castle Street, Roscommon, which will feature comedy from Frank Forde and live music from Matt Rogers and his Band.
There will also be prizes for the Best Dressed Gent, sponsored by Edward Donnellan Menswear and Best Dressed Lady, sponsored by The Spa at the Hodson Bay Spa.
