Weekly Update

Our U.12 team played Elphin in the Division 2 final in Strokestown on Sunday last. Both sides were evenly matched in the first half with a level scoreline at half time. However, Elphin proved the stronger team in the second half pulling ahead to win on a scoreline of 1 11 to 8 pts. St. Michael's boys never gave up to the end and certainly represented the Club very well. Hard luck to the team and management of Michael Henry, Conor McLoughlin and Brian Higgins. This team will be in action on Tuesday evening against Kilglass in the Keenan Cup at 8pm in Kilglass.

The U.14's travel to Kiltoom to play St. Brigid's on Monday evening at 7.30 and play away again to Roscommon Gaels on Wednesday evening also at 7.30.

Many thanks to St. Croan's for hosting a very successful U.10 blitz on Saturday last.
St. Michael's host an U.8 blitz on Saturday next at 11am, please come out and support our U.8's .

The junior team played St. Brigids juniors on Sunday evening in Woodmount in the Championship, St. Brigids proved to be the stronger team on the day with a convincing win.

Ladies Football: ​ Training continues for U.12 and u.14's on Monday evenings from 7 to 8pm. There is training for U.8 and 10 girls on Thursday evening this week, they are due to play Boyle next week in Ardcarne Park.

This is the final call for any unwanted clothes shoes etc. Bags can be dropped to complex or through any club officer, a final chance for wardrobe reshuffle !!
 
The club lotto draw took place in the Watersplash, Cootehall on Friday last. No's drawn were 2, 7, 11 and 24. There was no jackpot winner, match 3 winner Detta Conlon, Geevagh. Next draw takes place in The Moorings on 27th July for a jackpot of E1, 300.
