Weekly Update

The St Michael's U21 Team got off to a winning start in the Div 3 Championship on Sunday last, the 28th of October 2012 against St Barry's in Tarmonbary. Final score; St Michael's  2-06  St Barry's 1-05. Their next game is fixed for Sunday next, the 4th of November 2012 against Ballinameen in Ardcarne Park at 12.00pm.  
 
The St Michael's U11 Team defeated St Croan's in the Shane Beirne Shield Final on Sunday last, the 28th of October 2012 at Tulsk, after both sides had drawn level in the first match that was played on Thursday last, the 25th of October 2012 at Tulsk . The victories St Michael's U11 Panel were as follows; Shane O’Loughlin-Glynn, James Doherty, Jack Mc Cawley, Harry Bruen,Brian O’Dowd, Robert Gillespie, Oliver Charles, Jack Lane, Liam Kerins, Damian Mc Glynn, Christian Vivek, Mark Heslin, Alexander Vivek, Simon Burke, Alan O Connor, Andrew Tiernan, Nino Chilton, Niall Curry, Jim Harte, Fiachra Henry, Clodagh Curry, Ciara McHugh and they were mentored by; Eddie Heslin, Peter Burke, Joan Tiernan, Michael Henry. Well done to all involved in the preparations with the team and congratulations to all the players on this success. Also the Club would like to thank the Beirne Family, the Roscommon Northern GAA Board and Tulsk GAA Club in this success for the future stars for the Club. 
 
The Junior Team play against Tulsk in the Quater Final of the Div 4 League on Saturday next, the 3rd of November 2012 in Tulsk at 2.00pm. 
 
The first round of Scór na Óg will take place on next Friday and Saturday, the 2nd and 3rd of November 2012 in Kilmurry Community Centre, Tulsk and Dangan Community Centre, Kilmore. The events for participating in Scór na Óg are; figure dancing, set dancing, solo singing, instrumental music, question time, ballad group, recitation and novelty act. Good luck to all those, who are representing the Club in the competition next weekend. 
 
The Club extends its condolences to the McShera Family, Fostra on the death of Michael McShera (RIP) and to the Duignan Family, Kilteasheen, the Keavney Family, Cootehall and the Malone family, Limerick and Ballyfermoyle on their recent bereavements.
 
The Club have tickets available for a Poker Classic in aid of the County Minor Board at Hannon's Hotel, Roscommon on Friday, the 9th of November 2012. Anyone interested can contact any Club Officer.
