Monster Fuel Draw

The 2012 St. Michaels GAA Club Monster Fuel Draw was held in The Moorings, Knockvicar last night. The club wishes to extend it's heartfelt gratitude to all who helped out in anyway, our prize sponsors, ticket sellers, those who helped in transporting the trailer of timber around the parish and outlying areas, to Dave in The Moorings for hosting the draw and also to everyone who bought tickets. First prize of a trailer load of quality firewood sponsored by Joe Tansey of Greenbelt was won by Helen Boyce, Castlebar. Second prize of 500 litres of home heating oil sponsored by Stewarts Oil, Boyle was won by Michael Simon, Cootehall. Third prize of 1000kg of coal, sponsored by Arigna Fuels was won by Oliver McKeown, Drumboylan. Fourth prize of a boiler service sponsored by Shane Malone, Ballyfermoyle was won by Frances Tansey. Fifth prize of a €100 voucher for O' Dowd's Fireplaces, Carrick-on-Shannon was won by Mary Kerins, Derrynine. The trailer load of firewood was prepared voluntarily by club members with equipment assistance from East Bros, Boyle. Below are some pictures from the night.
