Club Notes
19th March 2023
CONNACHT GAA CLUB SUPPORT PROGRAMME
St Michael's are participating in the
above programme this year. With the support of Connacht GAA, Roscommon Coaching
& Games and the County Board, the programme aims to build up very strong
coaching systems and structures throughout the club, with a view to being self-sufficient
up to and including adult level.
The programme kicked off with an
online survey which was circulated last week. Responses are requested from all
of our players, coaches, officials, parents and supporters.
Following on from this survey, a
workshop will take place this week in the club meeting rooms at Ardcarne Park
on Wednesday 22nd March from 7.30-9.30pm, facilitated by representatives from
Connacht and Roscommon GAA.
It is really important that we have
as many people there as possible to contribute and be part of the overall
coaching initiative.
It will be an invaluable opportunity
for all stakeholders (officers, coaches, players, parents, supporters) to give
their feedback and input into the future direction and development of the club.
Your chance to make a difference!

St Michaels Membership 2023
All players must register through foireann.ie
before taking to the field for the 2023 season.
St Michaels have not
increased their prices for the 2023 season, with membership being one of the
most affordable in the county.
We would ask all members
registering that if at all possible to include the Lotto option in their
membership package as this is a key source of revenue for the club which feeds
into several other areas of the club.
We are having two draws
this year for club members with the Lotto membership to win hampers at Easter
and Christmas.
Those wishing to avail of
the club's facilities/gym in a non-playing membership may do so for €60, while
there are also membership options available for cultural and social areas such
as Scor for €10.
As ever, club members will
be able to choose to pay in instalments.
The club is setting a
deadline of April 1st by which membership must be paid by (excluding
those paying in instalments). Players are not insured to use facilities, train
or play in matches if not registered and this will be communicated to all team
managers.
If anyone requires any assistance
at this time, please let us know. Enquires will be dealt with in the strictest
confidence.
