Pride of the club
and huge congratulations to St. Michaels scór representatives who won the Solo
singing and Ballad group in Kilmurray recently. They will represent Roscommon in the Connacht Scór
finals in Claremorris in 2 weeks’ time.
Aoife Guckian accompanied by Cathal Guckian beat
tough opposition from other clubs in the county to win gold in the solo
singing and to the ballad group of Aoife and Cathal Guckian, Brianna
Lennon and Niamh Reynolds.
Hard luck to our quiz team Tommy Martin, Stephen
Fee, Kevin Guckian and Patricia Dowd who didn’t make it into the top 3 by finishing 4th.
Well done also to Brianna Lennon who competed
in solo singing.
A huge thanks to Annmarie Harte for her help with the
ballad group.
Thank you to all the supporters who came along to
cheer our club on.
Also congrats to our neighbours St. Ronans -
Rachel Noone and Fiachra Guihen who won the County title in Scór and will go on
to represent St. Ronans in Connaught in two weeks’ time.
Congrats Neighbours
Congratulations to
both our neighbouring teams, Boyle and St. Ronan's on their great wins to
qualify for the Senior & Junior finals respectively. The very best of
luck in the Finals.
Lotto
There no
results in at time of going to press of the draw for October 2nd, which
took place on October 9th. The numbers drawn were 7, 20, 22, 23.
The next
draw takes place on 16th October.

Sympathy
The Club extends its sympathy to the families
of Rose Casey, Dereenargon, Eileen Shannon, Newtown, Cootehall, and Frankie
Simon, Boyle, May they rest in peace.
As club we also remember the ten people who
lost their lives in the tragic accident in Cresslough. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a
