UNDERAGE

Well done to the St Michaels/St Ronans under 13 boys who recorded their second win in the championship against Tulsk on Thursday with yet another come-from-behind performance. Full time score: Tulsk 5-8  St Michael's-St Ronan's 5-13.

An understrength St Michael's-St Ronan's Under 15 side travelled to Lisnamult to play Roscommon Gaels in their second Division 1 championship game on Friday evening. Our boys were stunned by an early two goal salvo from the home team but worked their way back into the game and only trailed by a point at half-time, Roscommon Gaels 2-1  St Michael's-St Ronan's 6pts. Two points from play after the resumption put our lads into the lead, only to see it overturned by a third Gaels goal. Two points still separated the sides as the game entered the final quarter, but it was the home team who finished the stronger, emerging winners on a 3-10 to 1-9 scoreline.

The under 15 Division 4 boys team played St Faithleach's in Ballyleague on Tuesday. The lads put in another promising skillful performance before ending up on the wrong side of a 6-13 to 5-10 scoreline. The next Division 4 game is on Sunday 7th against Kilmore-Shannon Gaels.

St Michaels/St Ronans Under 17 boys resumed their championship campaign with a comfortable victory in Ardcarne Park on Saturday.
