Underage
The underage season is in full swing now! St Michaels/St Ronans Under 13 boys visited Kilglass on Tuesday evening and emerged victorious after putting in an excellent performance.
St Michaels/St Ronans Under 15 boys made the long journey to Woodmount on Thursday evening to play Padraig Pearses in both Division 1 and Division 4. The Division 1 game was keenly contested. Defences held sway in a tight opening half with the home side leading by 1-4 to 6pts at the break. Three goals in the 3rd quarter gave them a commanding lead but a resilient fight back by the visitors narrowed the gap to 4pts with five minutes remaining. However Pearses held on to win a fine sporting contest by 4-11 to 3-8.
A very entertaining Division 4 game followed with all-out attack the order of the night! In an end-to-end shootout, the home side prevailed once more on a 2-15 to 3-9 scoreline.
