Update 20/8/17

The resumption of the Intermediate football championship last weekend had St. Michael's travel to face Kilbride. Kilbride proved to be the stronger team in the end winning out with an 8 point margin. Next up for St. Michael's are Creggs on Saturday evening next at Ardcarne Park.

The under 12 boys will travel to play Kilmore in the Division 4 Summer league this Wednesday at 7.00pm. They are due to play St. Ronan's at Ardcarne Park next Saturday at 12 noon.
 
Best wishes to our Under 8's & Under 10's who will take part in the annual county blitz in the Connaught Centre of excellence in Ballyhaunis on Saturday at 10am. All players are required to be there at 9 30am.
 
Kilglass / St. Michael's  minor girls play St Barry's in Tarmonbarry on Monday evening at 7.30pm. They will play Shannon Gaels on Thursday at 7.30pm in Croghan. The under 14 girls play away to Strokestown on Sunday at 6pm and they will play Kilglass away on Tuesday 29th next.
Best of luck to all players who are awaiting confirmation of college courses tomorrow.
 
There will be a Club meeting on Wednesday night at 9.15pm. All club members are welcome to attend.
 
Congratulations to the King & Moffatt group on winning €500 in the Club Rossie draw. Thanks to all who bought tickets for the draw through St. Michael's.
 
The club extends sympathy to Mick Keaney & family, Corrigeenroe and also to Una Mc Loughlin & family, Corrigeenroe on their recent bereavements. 
 
Best wishes to Diarmuid Regan and the county under 17 football team panel and management when they travel to Croke Park next Sunday to play Tyrone in the All-Ireland final. The match will be televised on TG4 and throw-in is at 11.45am.
Well done to the St. Michael's players who took part in the recent inter county under 14 and under 15 football competitions.
