Weekly Update

The Intermediate team were defeated by St. Dominics on Sunday evening last in Elphin in the second round of the championship.  The next round is next weekend , see fixtures for details or the Club Blog.  The club wishes Niall Bambrick a speedy recovery from the injury he sustained on Sunday evening.

Our U.10's took part in a blitz hosted by Michael Glaveys on Saturday last in Ballinlough.  Thanks to Michael Glaveys for their hospitality on the day.  Training continues every Friday evening at 7.

 The U.12's had another victory on Friday evening last in Ardcarne Park beating Castlerea on a scoreline of 3 11 to 2 06.  They have  one last game to play against Eire Og.

U.16's play St. Ronans in their last Championship game on Tuesday evening V St. Ronans in Ballyfarnon at 7.30, please support the team .

LADIES: The U.15 team bowed out of the Sean Daly Memorial Cup on Tuesday eveving last with a defeat to Western Gaels, well done to Tommy Daly and his management team and to the girls for their success in this tournament.

The U.14 championship starts on Sunday next and the first game is away to Roscommon Gaels in Lisnamult at 6pm.  Best of luck to the girls and management.

The Club skills day for our underage players takes place on September 5th , keep the date free.  More details will follow shortly.

The last lotto draw took place in Beirnes of Battlebridge, the no's drawn were 10, 18, 23 and 27. There was no jackpot winner and the one match three winner was Michael Mullaney, Cootehall.  The next draw takes place on Sunday 16th August in The Bogside for a jackpot of E3,900.  Padraig Hunt's team are in charge of ticket sales.

The club wishes to congratulate Alan & Aoife Simon on the birth of their baby boy.
