Weekly Update

Great credit this week goes to the U14 Girls Team, who were defeated by Strokestown in the Semi Final of the U14 Ladies Div 3 Championship, which was played on Saturday at Strokestown. This was the first year for the Club to field an U14 Girls Team and it was a great achievement to reach the Semi Finals. A big thank you to all the Girls involved and to the Management Team for the enjoyment during the year. It shows a bright future for ladies football in the Club. The U21 Championship continues on Sunday next, the 13th of October 2013, when St Michael's play Kilbride. In the U12 summer League, The Green Team were defeated by Tulsk on Monday last and they were also defeated by St Ciaran's on Sunday last, the 6th of October 2013 at Mulheron Park, Fuerty. Training for U21, U12 Boys and U12 and U14 Girls during the week. Coaches will notify. The Lotto draw was held in Clancy's Bar, Cleen, Knockvicar on Sunday last, the 6th of October 2013 for a Jackpot of € 8,100.00. The numbers drawn were 6, 8, 13, 28. There was no Jackpot Winner, One Match 3 Winner, € 100.00; Emer Gilboy, Cootehall. The next draw is in The Watersplash Bar, Cootehall on Sunday, the 20th of October 2013 for a Jackpot of € 8,200.00. Next Weekend, St Michael's GAA Club will launched their Annual Monster Fuel Draw at Ardcarne Park GAA Grounds, Cootehall. The draw this year again will be bigger and will be offering Great Prizes, total value estimated at over €2,000.00. The full details of the draw will be announced at the launch. Please support. The Quarter Finals of Scór na Óg will take place on the 15th and 16th of November 2013 in Dangan Community Centre, Kilmore and Kilmurry Hall, Tulsk. Anyone who wishes to enter in anyone of the events list below can contact any Club Officer. The events for participating in Scór na Óg are; figure dancing, set dancing, solo singing, instrumental music, ballad group and recitation. The Club extends its condolences to the Family and Relatives on the death of the late Tom Moran (RIP), Boyle and formerly of Knockvicar.
