Weekly Update

The U21 Championship started on Saturday last and St Michael's received a walkover from St Ronan's. They will play St Barry's in Round 2 on Saturday next, the 28th of September 2013 at Tarmonbarry at 5.00pm. The U14 Boys Team were defeated by league winners, Kilbride at Ardcarne Park on Thursday last in the Div 3 Championship. Training for U6s, U8s and U10s on Friday evenings. The U14 Girls Team play Kilglass Gaels in the Quarter Final of the Championship at Ardcarne Park on Wednesday. The U12 summer League continued this week. The Green Team were defeated by Clan na nGael A at Ardcarne. They are due to play Tulsk on Sunday next at 12.00pm at Ardcarne Park. The Red Team were defeated by Kilglass Gaels on Monday last but returned to winning ways by defeating Padraig Pearses B in Group F on Sunday. Training for U21, U12 Boys and U12 and U14 Girls during the week. Coaches will notify. The Lotto draw was held in Henry's Bar, Cootehall on Sunday for a Jackpot of € 8,000.00. More details next week. The Club hosted the County U8 Go Games Blitz on Saturday. Teams from St Faithleachs, Oran and Tulsk were in attendance. Thanks to all involved in helping and catering on the day. The U10 Team are out on Saturday next in the U10 Go Games Blitzs at Oran. The U10 Team are grouped in Group C, with games against St Faithleachs, Oran and Tulsk. The Club held a mini Scrap and Battery collection on Saturday last, the 21st of September 2013. Thanks to all who donated goods. If you have any items for collection contact any Club Officer or Member in the next week as this part of the recycle effort will finish. Other parts of the Recycling effort will go on, as St Michael's will be collecting Clothes and Shoes over the next few weeks. These items can be collected by contacting any Club Officer or Club Member or by bring them to Ardcarne Park Sports Complex on Monday's between 7.00pm - 8.00pm or Friday's between 6.30pm - 7.30pm.
