Weekly Update

The St Michael's Intermediate Team play against the winner of Eire Og/ St Barry's, fixed for next weekend in the Quarter Finals of the Roscommon Intermediate Championship on the Weekend of the 6th-8th September 2013.
The St Michael's Junior Team were defeated by Kilmore in the Div 4 League Group B on Wednesday last, the 14th of August 2013 in Kilmore. They received a walkover against Padraig Pearse's B in Round 3 of the Junior A Championship in Dr Hyde Park on Sunday last, the 18th of August 2013. This means the Junior Team holded their Junior A Championship status for the 2014 Junior Championship.
The U14 Boys Team have two games this week, first they play against Kilbride in Kilbride on Tuesday next, the 20th of August 2013 at 7.00pm in the Div 3 U14 Championship and secondly the play against Michael Glavey's on Thursday next, the 22nd of August 2013 in Ballinalough in the Div 3 U14 Championship at 7.00pm.
Training for U6s, U8s and U10s on Friday next, the 23rd of August 2013 at Ardcarne Park from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.
The U14 Girls Team got their U14 Championship in Group B1 off and running last Monday week, the 12th of August 2013, where they were defeated by St Faithleachs in Ballyleague. They played against Strokestown on Monday last, the 19th of August 2013 at Ardcarne Park. More details on this next week. Next weekend they play two games, they play against Western Gaels, on Friday next, 23rd of August 2013, in Frenchpark at 7.00pm and then on Sunday next, the 25th of August 2013, they play against Roscommon Gaels at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm.
Training for U21, U18, U16, U14, U12 Boys and U12 and U14 Girls during the week. Coaches will notify.
The Lotto draw is in Beirne's of Battlebridge on Sunday, the 25th of August 2013 for a Jackpot of  € 7,800.00.
The U8 Team play in a U8 Blitz on Saturday next, the 24th of August 2013 in Ballinameen. 
The U12 summer League will be starting in the next week or two. More details on this in the coming weeks.
Congratulations to U14 Girls mentor, Angela Moran, who got married on Saturday last, the 17th of August 2013 to Adrian Power in Crossna. 
The Club would like to extends its condolences to the Cox families on the death of the late Alfie Cox (RIP), Zimbabwe and formally from Cootehall, to the Mc Aleese Family on the death of the late Paddy Leneghan (RIP) Carroward and Rosstrevor and to the Leinahan Family on the death of the late Dora Hamilton (RIP) Killargue.
You can now get the latest edition of Club news from Outlets through out the Club's Catchment Area. This edition carries a crossword competition, with the lucky winner receiving free admission for two people to the ZIPIT Challenge at Lough Key Forest Park. The closing date for the Crossword Competition is extended to Sunday next, the 25th of August.
