St. Michaels is a rural GAA Club based in North County Roscommon with it's home ground at Ardcarne Park. The Club colours are Green and Red.

Weekly Update
The St Michael's Intermediate Team got back to winning ways in the Roscommon Intermediate Championship, where the Team defeated Kilglass Gael in Round 3 of the Group stage of the Championship, on Saturday last, the 10th of August 2013 at Ardcarne Park. A Draw or a Win was needed to see the Team qualify for the Quarter finals of the Roscommon Intermediate Championship. St Michael's were aided with the strong breeze in the first half. Kilglass Gaels opened the scoring with a point from a free after ten minutes, but two points from Niall Conlon and a point from Kevin Mc Dermott gave St Michael's a two point lead midway in the first half. A point from Alan O Hara was soon cancelled out by an other pointed free from Kilglass Gaels. The final score of the half came from the boot of Alan O Hara, an other point, to leave the Half time score St Michael's 0-05 Kilglass Gaels 0-02. In to the Second Half, St Michael's had extended their lead by two points, a point from play from Ronan Martin and a frees from Niall Conlon after twelve minutes of the Second Half. The game ended as a contest midway into the Second Half, when Ronan Martin Goaled for St Michael's, to leave the score St Michael's 1-07 Kilglss Gaels 0-02. Kilglss Gaels only score was a punch goal as the Game entered into injury time, Further points from Ronan Martin, Kevin Mc Dermott and Stephen Mc Guinness, gave St Michael's a comfortable victory. Final Score St Michael's 1-10 Kilglass Gaels 1-02. St Michael's now play against the winner of Eire Og/ St Barry's in the Quarter Finals of the Roscommon Intermediate Championship on the Weekend of the 6th-8th September 2013. The Club would like to thank all who helped out on Saturday evening last, from those who prepared the field, to the ladies for the refreshments, to the stewards, to those who manned the Scoreboard and to JJ Regan for the use of his field for the event. The St Michael's Junior Team have a busy week, first the play against Kilmore in the Div 4 League Group B on Wednesday next, the 14th of August 2013 at 8.00pm in Kilmore. They play against Padraig Pearse's B in Round 3 of the Junior A Championship in Dr Hyde Park on Sunday next, the 18th of August 2013 at 6.30pm. The U14 Boys Team were defeated by Kilglass Gaels/St Barry's on Wednesday last, the 7th of August 2013 at Kilglass in the Div 3 U14 Championship. They play against Kilbride in Kilbride on Thursday next, the 15th of August 2013 at 7.00pm in the Div 3 U14 Championship. Training for U6s, U8s and U10s on Friday next, the 16th of August 2013 at Ardcarne Park from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. Training for U21, U18, U16, U14, U12 Boys and U12 and U14 Girls during the week. Coaches will notify. The Lotto draw was held in The Watersplash Bar, Cootehall on Sunday last, the 11th of August 2013, for a jackpot of € 7,700.00. The numbers drawn were 2, 17, 20, 25. There was no Jackpot winner. One match 3 winners, € 100.00, Dermot and Geri O Neill, c/o The Bogside. The next draw is in Beirne's of Battlebridge on Sunday, the 25th of August 2013 for a Jackpot of € 7,800.00 Thanks to all those who purchased tickets for the Roscommon Race Day, which was held on Tuesday, August the 6th 2013 at Roscommon Race Course. Well done to the Roscommon Minor Team, who defeated Kildare in the All Ireland Minor Football Championship Quarter Final on Monday, the 5th of August 2013 in O Connor Park,Tullamore. The now play against Tyrone in the All Ireland Minor Semi Final in Croke Park on Sunday, the 1st of September 2013. This edition carries a crossword competition, with the lucky winner receiving free admission for two people to the ZIPIT Challenge at Lough Key Forest Park.
