Weekly Update

The  St Michael's Intermediate Team got their 2013 Roscommon Intermediate Championship off to a great start against Clann na nGael 'B' in Johnstown in the Second Round of the Roscommon Intermediate Championship, on Sunday last, the 26th of May 2013. With the Team dominating the game although especially in defence and leading 1-08  to 0-02 at Half Time. The goal scored by James Reynolds. The second half, St Michael's added 1-03 to the Score Board, with James Reynolds adding a second goal. Final Score; St Michael's 2-11  Clann na nGael 'B' 0-06. Their next Intermediate Championship game is against St Ronan's on Saturday the 29th of June 2013.

 

On Sunday next, the 2nd of June 2013, the St Michael's Junior Team play against Ballinameen in the First Round of the Roscommon Junior 'A' Championship at Davonna Park, Ballinameen at 3.00pm.

 

The U14 Boys Team were defeated narrowly against Kilglass/St Barry's in the U14 Div 3 League on Thursday last, the 23rd of May 2013 at Ardcarne Park.

 

They play against St Croan's in the U14 Div 3 League on Thursday next, the 30th of May 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm.

 

On Friday last, the 24th of May 2013 was a land mark day for the Club, when the Club fielded two U12 Teams in the U12 Spring League.The Green Team were defeated by St Barry's at Ardcarne Park in Group E. The Red Team were defeated by  St Brigids at Kiltoom. On Sunday next, the 2nd of June 2013, Both Teams are again in action, The Green Team play against Kilbride at Ardcarne Park at 12.00pm. The Red Team play against Kilmore at Kilmore at 12.00pm. 

 

The U12 Girls Team were busy last week, playing three games in the week. First up, They were defeated by Kilglass Gaels on Monday last, the 20th of May 2013 at Ardcarne Park in the U12 Championship, Round 5, Group B1. They defeated Elphin on Wednesday last, the 22nd of May 2013 at Ardcarne Park in the U12 Championship, Round 4, Group B1 They were defeated by St Mary's on Friday last, the 24th of May 2013 at Tulsk in the U12 Championship, Round 3, Group B1. With these results, the Team have qualified for the quarter finals of the  U 12 Div 3 League,  where they play against St Ciaran's in Mulheron Park, Fuerty on Wednesday next, the 29th of May 2013 at 7.00pm.

 

The First Round of the U10 Go Games Blitz takes place in Ballinameen, on Saturday next, the 2nd of June 2013 between 11.00 am - 1.00pm. We are grouped with Western Gaels/Ballinameen, Eire Og and Boyle.

  

The First Round of the U8 Go Games Blitz took place on Sunday last, the 26th of May 2013 at Loughglynn. It was a good work out for the Team with games against  Western Gaels/Ballinameen, Eire Og and Boyle. 

 

Training for U6s, U8s and U10s on Friday next, the 1st of June 2013 at Ardcarne Park from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

 

Training for U12 Boys on Thursday next, the 30th of May 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm.

Training for U12 and U14 Girls on Monday next, the 3rd of June 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 6.30pm. 

 

The Lotto draw was held in The Moorings, Knockvicar, over the past week, for a jackpot of € 7,100.00. The numbers drawn were 4, 11, 14, 20. There was no Jackpot Winner, Two match 3 winners, €50 each; Tommy Martin, Fostra and Mary Fryer, Clooneybrian. The next draw is in Beirnes of Battlebridge on Sunday next, the 2nd of June 2013, for a jackpot of € 7,200.00. 

Tickets for the 2013 County Board Members Draw are now available from the Club at €100. By supporting this draw you are supporting you Club and County. The draw is on the 15th of June 2013. Shares can be taken in these tickets and there are 20 Prizes in the Draw, with the first prize of € 35,000.00, if interested please contact the Club.
