Junior Men

Congratulations to our adult men's team who emerged victorious over near neighbours St Ronan's on Sunday after an exciting Junior championship contest in Ardcarne Park on a 3-11 to 2-9 scoreline. Our scorers on the day were: Fiachra Henry 0-5, Sean Farrell 1-1, Mark Heslin 0-3, Ronan Cox 1-0, Jack Lane 1-0, Luca Hill 0-1, Diarmuid Regan 0-1.

Under 13
Our under 13 boys secured two valuable away wins in the Division Two Championship last week against Elphin-Ballinameen and Boyle, and lost out to Clann na Gael in a very competitive Division Four encounter.

Roscommon Development Panels
Well done to our club representatives on the Roscommon under 14 and 15 development panels who took part in the Connacht blitz tournament at the Centre of Excellence on Saturday. Neil Fahy, Ruadhan Henry, Barry Monahan, Shane O'Dowd and Daniel Regan played for the u15s while Tommy Lennon and Iollan Morahan lined out for the u14s. Best wishes to Tommy Lennon for a speedy recovery from injury sustained in the blitz.

LGFA
The under 19 girls play Roscommon Gaels on Monday in Ardcarne Park at 7pm in their final round game.

The under 14 girls play Allen Gaels at 6.30 in Ballyfarnon on Monday and  they play Northern Harps away on Thursday in the 3rd Northern league game.

The Junior girls play Northern Harps in Ardcarne Park in their second championship game.

The under 10 and 8 girls play Kilmore/ Kilglass away on Monday and they also play Boyle in Cootehall on Thursday evening

The under 12 girls play Leitrim Gaels in Cootehall on Wednesday evening.

*FUNDRAISING DRAW*
The Roscommon ladies county board run an annual Confined Fortnightly Fundraising Draw.
They issue each club with a number of tickets which we are asked to sell.

Prizes are €350 for the winner and the selling club gets €150.
Tickets are €50 each which covers entry into 26 draws, they take place every fortnight starting on October.
The tickets are expensive but you could share purchase of a ticket with another club member/family member/neighbour etc, if you want to buy a share please PM me and we'll try and arrange this.

Last year our clubs won 5 out of the 26 draws!! 3 winners for St Michael's and 2 winners for St Ronans - this generated €800 in funds for our Saints team.

Sympathy

The Club extends its sympathy to the Guckian family, Drumboylan and the McDermott family, Knockvicar on their recent bereavements.

 

 Lotto

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot on 5^th September 2021

The numbers drawn were 4, 16, 18, 21. There were one match three winner Deidre Cox.
