Club Notes May 31st 2020
St Michaels Lotto
Our Club lotto is back! Next draw is June 14th
with a jackpot of €1,900, we have moved to online and tickets can be purchased
from https://www.lottoraiser.ie/StMichaels/
This weeks draw was held on May 31st
and wad live on facebook. There was no jackpot winner and no match three
winner. Lucky dip winners €20 each are: David & AnnMarie Regan, Andrew
Lever, John Moffatt, Jenny Bruen and Louise Moran. We also had a draw for our annual subscribers,
the winners were Joan Tiernan, Michael Mullaney and Micheal & Kathleen
Shivnan.

The Junior
Ladies Fitness challenges have come to an end as we are taking a break for
the month of June. We hope all the ladies enjoy the break and continue to build on their fitness and skills. This weeks winner was Ciara Down
Academy Training Initiative
We have completed the sixth week
of the St Michaels Academy remote training. Thanks to all who are taking part
especially all the parents who are supporting and encouraging the children each
week. The children were fantastic Congratulations to
Jack Kiernan, our week four winner of the Academy skills draw. Great to see all
the enthusiasm for this initiative.
Congrats to Tyler Meehan who
was the winner in the Under 12 draw this week, well done to all who are taking
part.
GAA Activity Cancelled
The cancellation of all GAA
Activity has been extended and with it, the suspension of Injury and Public
Liability Insurance, which means that the club grounds and facilities must
remain closed. Thanks to all our members for your co-operation.
The defibrillator is now
located outside the grounds while Ardcarne Park remains closed.

Thank you to all who have
been helping with the works ongoing at the pitch, it is greatly appreciated and
when we do get back playing we will have a great surface to be playing on! Also
thank to you the ladies who footed the turf during the week, it is much
appreciated. So much goes on in the background of the Club every week even
during lockdown, it does not go unnoticed and it is all valued.

St. Michaels GAA Club are very happy to do anything we can to help people in our Community who may need assistance at this extraordinary time.
We have a team of contact leaders, assisted by a huge pool of willing volunteers, on whom you can call for support. They are:

So far we have been delighted to be able to collect and deliver groceries, collect a prescription, check and feed livestock, and even give some tech support over the phone!
Rest assured that we will do anything and everything we can to assist everyone in our community while abiding with HSE guidelines to help keep us all safe.

helpline is operational seven-days-a-week from 8:00am to 8:00pm by Roscommon
