Club Notes 21/07/19


Under 16’s- St Michaels under16 lads started their Championship campaign against Elphin Ballinameen in Elphin on Friday last. Despite a slow start in very difficult conditions, the lads played some great football and were very competitive against the home side. The lads battled to the end but just came up short on a score line of St Michaels 0-8 Elphin Ballinameen 2-9. Well done to the lads for their efforts in the game. Under 14’s- St Michaels under 14 team begin their Championship on Sunday next against Castlerea in Ardcarne park. Best of luck to all involved.
Nursery -  Our Under 6’s, 8’s and 10’s play Eire Og in a blitz this week and training continues every Friday evening.
Lotto- The next draw takes place in the Bogside on 28th July, the jackpot is €6,400. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Supervalu; Shop & Support-  When you are shopping in Supervalu, Boyle please collect you GAA receipt and place it in to the St Michaels box near the ATM. The club can then trade these receipts for various types of gear. Thank you for your support.

LGFA - The under 14 girls Championship began on Sunday last they were narrowly beaten by St. Croans. They play St. Mary's at home next week.                                                                                                     
Our Minor game Vs St. Croans is postponed until after the Minor All Ireland Final where Roscommon play Longford on the 4th August  
The Junior team play Oran at home on Sunday at 12 noon.                                                                                                         
Well done to Roscommon intermediate team, especially Katie Daly and Sorcha Bruen who bet Offaly at the weekend they now play Sligo in the Quarter Final.                                                                                           
The Under 12 played Geevagh in a challenge and they are taking part in the Sean Daly Memorial Cup hosted by Boyle on Saturday next. Best of luck to the team,
