Club Notes 14/04/19

St Michael's Minor lads played Western Gaels on Friday last in Frenchpark. This was a hard fought game which was level at half time at 1-6 each. Our lads continued to work hard in the second half and finished up with a win for St Michaels. Final score St Michaels 1-12 Western Gaels 1-11. 

Upcoming League fixtures for this week:
U16s: St Michaels play Tulsk at home tonight Tuesday at 7pm.

Well done to our Junior girls although they were beaten by Oran today the girls should be very proud of the way they turned the game around in second half in awful wet cold and windy conditions. Many thanks to Oran for providing a much needed cuppa and refreshments also.The League is over now and Championship will  starts the end of June.  Thanks to our  Management team Stephen, Theresa and Maire.   

The Combined under 16 St Michaels/ St Ronans qualify for the Division 4 Final. They play St Mary's on the 5th May (Time and Venue  to be confirmed). Well done to the girls and Management team Harry Patrick Joan and Eddie   

The combined under 12 team St Michaels/ St Ronans game vs Shannon Gaels was cancelled today due to weather conditions. They play Elphlin/ Kilmore in Ballyfarnon on Wednesday   best of luck to all. 

The Combined under 14 girls play Boyle in Ardcarne Park on Monday the 15^th.

Wishing Katie Daly and Sorcha Bruen and the Roscommon ladies the best of luck in Div3 semi-final Vs Sligo next Saturday in Longford at 12.30.

No winner of the Lotto Jackpot, Match 3 winner was Mike Duignan. Kilfaughna. Numbers drawn were 1, 12, 14 and 19. Next draw on the 21^st of April with a new jackpot of €5,700. Thank you as always to everyone who supports the club lotto.
