Our under 10, under 8 and under 6 teams hosted St. Patrick's from Skreen and Dromard, Co. Sligo for the cross county blitz on Friday evening last. Well done to all our players who performed so well. For many, it was their first time lining out for the St. Michael's. The next blitz is scheduled for Saturday 24th June involving our neighbours Shannon Gaels and St. Ronan's.
The under 12 boys play Tulsk on Wednesday evening in Tulsk in a play off to earn a place in the division cup semi-final.
The under 14 girls beat Ballinameen last Wednesday and will now meet St. Faithleach's on Wednesday in Ardcarne Park at 7pm in a semi-final.
The under 12 girls have also qualified for the semi-final and will be played next Sunday. Details to be confirmed.
A spirited second half performance was not enough to make amends for a poor first half when the junior team met Boyle in the Abbey Park on Saturday evening in the division 5 league. Training continues on Tuesday evening.
There will be a club meeting in the complex on Wednesday night at 9.30pm. All club members are welcome to attend.
Best wishes to Diarmuid Regan and the Roscommon under 17 panel and management in their Connacht semi-final meeting with Leitrim at Dr. Hyde Park next Sunday. Throw-in is at 1pm.
