Weekly Update

There is a Club Meeting on Tuesday night at 9.30 and all members are requested to attend.
 The Intermediate Team were defeated by a stronger Oran team in the last round of the Intermediate Championship on Sunday last  in Enfield.
The U.12's defeated Eire Og on a final scoreline of 5-11 to 4-10 and are now into the Div 2 Summer league final which is fixed for the 3rd October. 
The U.14's are also into Div 3 championship final which is scheduled to be played on 12th/13th September.
Our U14/15 boys and girls teams travel to Convoy, Co. Donegal next Saturday to play St. Mary's Convoy .  Thanks to former Club player Conor McDermott for organising this return trip.
Our annual skills day takes place on Saturday September 5th.
Our U.8and U.10's take part in the Co. Blitz next Saturday in Ballyhaunis.
The U.14 girls had a busy week with 2 games this week.  They played well against both Elphin and Strokestown,  who  proved too strong for us.  They play St. Ciarans on Thursday evening in Ardcarne Park at 7pm and also on Sunday next they play Western Gaels in Frenchpark.
The U.10 girls have a match this week and parents will be notified by text.

The last lotto draw took place in The Bogside, there was no jackpot winner.  Match three winner was Alan O'Hara, Cootehall. The new jackpot stands at E4,00 and the next draw takes place in Henry's on Sunday next with Nuala O'Haras team are in charge of ticket sales.
Well done to all the children from the Ardcarne area who proudly represented the parish in the community games finals in Athlone.
