Weekly Update

Thank you to the large number of people who have agreed to host a table at the forthcoming Come Dine With Me function to mark the official opening of the refurbished Ardcarne Park Community Complex on Sunday 3rd May next. There are seats available at some of the tables so contact Michael Regan on 087 6181248 if you would like to join what is shaping up to be a great community night out. Tickets cost €20 each.
 
Under 10 football training continues every Friday evening from 7 to 8pm.
The U.12's had a good win away to Western Gaels in their first league game of the season, they play St. Faithleach's at home next weekend.

The U.14's lost away to St. Aidans in a hard fought game and they play Kilbride at home this Thursday evening.

The U.16's lost out to a stronger Boyle team on Sunday morning last.

The Intermediate team  were beaten by Kilglass in Ardcarne Park on Sunday last.

LADIES:  The U.12 girls were narrowely beaten by St. Marys in the first round of the league , best of luck to the team and management in the league campaign.

The U.16's lost out to a stronger Kilmore side on Sunday evening last in the Shield final.  Hard luck to the girls and the management team of Tommy Daly, Anthony Dowd and Ciara Dowd.  The club extends its gratitude to the Tara Marina Restaurant Knockvicar for providing refreshments after the final.

The lotto draw was held in The Moorings on Sunday night, the no.s drawn were 8, 23, 27 and 28.  There was no jackpot winner, five X E20 each were Keith O'Hara, Tommie & Maura Noone, Tommie & Michael Lavin Creevagh, Sean & Mary Wynne Arigna and PJ and Maureen O'Connor. The next draw takes place in Beirnes of Battlebridge on Sunday 3rd May for a jackpot of E3,200 and Gerry McCabes team are in charge of ticket sales.
