Weekly Update

The U.16's got their league campaign off to a winning start with a win over St. Ronan's on Sunday last, final scoreline 5 11 to 6 04.

The Junior team also started their campaign with a win against St. Barry's in Tarmonbarry.

Training continues for U14/16 girls on Wednesday evening at 7pm.

The Senior Scor Co. Final is on the 14th March and the Scor Senior quiz is on the 20th March in Hannons Hotel.

The lotto draw was held on Sunday 8th in Beirnes of Battlebridge and the no's drawn were 14, 18, 19 and 20. There were five E20 winners Thomas Lavin Arigna, Daniel Griffin Cootehall, Sean O'Hara Cootehall, Jim & Ita Lavin Creevagh, Aidan McLoughlin Corrigeenroe. New jackpot is E2,700 and the next draw is in The Bogside on Sunday 22th February. Mary Kearns team are in charge of ticket sales.

The club wishes to extend its condolences to the Keaveney family, Cootehall on the recent death of Mary Joe Mullaney, Four Mile House, condolences also to the Mullarkey family, Rockingham, and the Monahan family, Smutternagh on their recent bereavements.

Best wishes to Gabriel Higgins and Michelle Wynne who are getting married on Friday 20th in Arigna.

Congratulations to clubman Daniel McGonigle who was part of the Liverpool Hope University Team who won the All Britain final in Manchester last Sunday against John Moores University university.
 
They now play St Pats Drumcondra in the Trench Cup semi final in Cork on Friday. The management team were part of the John Mitchels team that played in the Junior All Ireland club final at the weekend.
