Weekly Update

A large attendance was in the Bogside on Sunday night last for the Annual Fuel draw. The winner of the first prize, the trailer load of timber, was Joan Morahan, Cleaheen. Second prize of Briquettes went to Peadar Tansey, Moigh, third prize of 500l Home heating Oil went to James McHugh. Fourth prize of a trailer load of turf went to Martina Molloy, Blackfallow and fifth prize of half tonne of coal went to Marcena Keaveney, Glenamaddy. Sixth prize of a Boiler Service went to Henry Barlow, Riverstown, winner of the seventh prize of a car trailer-load of turf went to Christy Grehan, Boyle and the eighth winner of a tonne of kindling was Enda Colreavy Gortletteragh. Once again many thanks to our generous sponsors and to our supporters, more to follow next week.

The annual GAA mass is in Drumboylan Church on November 29th at 6.30pm.
Congratulations to the Scor Instrumental Group on qualifying for the Co final on the 14th December, thanks to Brenda Sweeney for her mentoring of this group. Hard luck to the quiz team and many thanks to Conor McLoughlin for his help in preparing the team.

There is a Minor Committee meeting on Wednesday night at 9pm in the Clubhouse.

The lotto draw was held in Beirnes of Battlebridge on Sunday night last, there was no jackpot winner, match three winner E100 was Mary Leydon, Crossna. New jackpot is E2,200 and next draw is in the Bogside on Sunday 30th next with Padraig Hunt's team in charge of ticket sales.
