Hard luck to the U.12 team who were beaten by Castlerea on Sunday last in the Division 2 semifinal . The game was level at half time and again with ten minutes to go, but unfortunately they lost out in the end on a scoreline of 4 09 to 2 09. U.12 panel is as follows : J. McCawley, B. O'Dowd, G. Guckian, S. O'Loughlin Glynn. Overall this Team had a very successful year reaching the final of Div 2 Spring league and semifinal Div 2 Summer league. Well done and thanks to all the panel and management of Brian Higgins, Michael Henry and Conor McLoughlin.
The U.13's have a Feile game against St. Faithleach's on Tuesday in Kilbride.
Well done to Jack Flanagan who won an U.12 Co. hurling medal with St. Marys last week.
Ladies: The U.14 semi-final takes place on Saturday 11th October . Training continues on Monday and Wednesday evenings. The Club wishes Noelle Martin a speedy recovery from her recent injury.
Scor: The Scor semifinal for the Northern Clubs will take place on 21st November in Elphin.
The Club lotto draw takes place in Clancys on Sunday next 5th October for a jackpot of E1,700. Jenny Bruen's team are in charge of ticket sales.
The club extends its deepest sympathy to the family of the late Kathleen McShera, Clegna, Cootehall and also to the family of the late Freddie Kearns, London, brother of Jimmy, Derrynine.
