Weekly Update

The U12 Girls Team play against Michael Glavey's at Frenchpark in the U12 Div 3 Shield Final this evening Monday 17th June.

 

The St Michael's Intermediate Team drew with St Dominic's in the O Gara Cup League on Friday last, the 14th of June 2013 in Knockcroghery at 8.00pm. This result leaves the Team in third place in the Table with eight games played with ten points received.

The Junior game against Kilmore was cancelled.

 

The U14 Boys Team were defeated by Kilbride on Thursday last at Kilbride. They play Michael Glavey's on Friday next, the 21st of June 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.30pm.

 

In the U12s, on Sunday last the Green Team defeated St Aidan's at Ballyforan while the Red Team were defeated by Clann na nGael on Thursday at Johnstown. The Green Team play away to Castlerea St Kevin's on Monday the 17th of June  2013 at Ardcarne Park. The Green Team play Shannon Gaels on Wednesday the 19th of June 2013 at Croghan at 7.30pm. The Red Team are at home to Kilglass Gaels on Saturday the 22nd of June 2013 at 7.00pm.

 

It was a successful and busy weekend with the Club hosting the Second Round of the U10 Go Games Blitz at Ardcarne Park on Saturday last. We played games against Western Gaels/Ballinameen, Eire Og and Boyle. The Second Round of the U8 Go Games Blitz took place on Monday last at Ardcarne Park, with games against Western Gaels/Ballinameen, Eire Og and Boyle. The Club also welcomed St Mary's GAA Club from Convoy, Co Donegal, (under the stewardship of former clubman, Conor Mc dermott) to Ardcarne Park, where the St Michael's U12 Boys and U12 Girls Team played challenge games against the teams from Donegal on Saturday the 15th of June 2013. The Club would like to thank all involved in the running of these events, which were enjoy by all who participated.

 

The Third Round of the U8 Go Games Blitz take place on Saturday next, the 22nd of June 2013 at Abbey Park, Boyle. We will play games against Western Gaels/Ballinameen, Eire Og and Boyle.

The Lotto draw was held in Henry's Bar,Cootehall on Sunday last, the 16th of June 2013, for a jackpot of € 7,300.00. The numbers drawn were 3, 6, 7, 13. There was no Jackpot winner, one match 3 winner, Robert Doyle, Crossna € 100.00. The next draw is in the Bogside Inn, Derreenadooey on Sunday, the 30th of June 2013 for a new Jackpot of € 7,400.00.

 

The Club would like to thank all those who bought full and shares in tickets for the 2013 County Board Members Draw from the Club. 

 

The Club are holding this years Cul Camp on the weekend of the 12th and 13th of July 2013 at Ardcarne Park. A Meeting will be held on this Thursday, the 20th of June 2013 at 9.30pm at Ardcarne Park Sports Complex to organise this event. Anyone interested in the event are asked to attend. 

 

Good Luck to Club Player Sean Farrell and his Colleges on the Rocommmon Minor Team, who play against Sligo on Sunday next, the 23rd of June 2013 in the Connacht Football Minor Semi Final in Pairi Sean Mac Diarmada, Carrick on Shannon at 1.30pm.
