Training for U6s and U8s on Friday next, the 14th of December 2012 at
Ardcarne Park from 7.00pm to 7.45pm.
The Lotto draw was held in the Bodside Inn, Derreenadooey, on Sunday
last, the 09th of December 2012, for a jackpot of € 6,000.00. The
numbers drawn were 4, 7, 16, 25. There was no winner, no match 3
winner, 5 x € 20 winners; Brian Kelly, Errironagh, Sineád Skeffington,
Derreenargon, Fergal Noone, Ballyfarnon, Pat Heslin, Knockvicar, Pat
Joe Flynn, Cootehall. The next draw is in Henry's Bar, Cootehall on
Sunday, the 23rd of December 2012, for a jackpot of € 6,100.00.
Hard Luck to our Music Group of Fiachra Henry, Niamh Clancy, Noelle
Martin, Diarmuid Regan and Lorcan Regan, who represented the Club in
the Scór na Óg County Finals in the Dean Crowe Theatre in Athlone on Sunday last, the
09th of December 2012. Well done on a great effort. The Club would
like to acknowledge the time in preparing the Group by Breenda Sweeney
for the competition.
The Club extends its condolences to the Family and Relatives of the
late Christopher Regan (RIP), Yonkers, USA and also to Mae Malone,
Usna on the death of her brother Sean Reynolds (RIP), Mohill.
Well done to the Club members and Supporters, who were part of the St
Michael's Church Choir that gave an enjoyable, entertaining Christmas
Concert in Cootehall Church on Sunday last. Well done to all involved
in the event.
The St Michael's GAA Club would like to thank all those, who help in
any way in securing an allocation of €70,000.00 in grant aid from the
Sport Capital Program 2012. The Club hopes with this funding and our
own funds, that development work will get started in the new year and
that existing facilities can also be improved on.
St. Michaels is a rural GAA Club based in North County Roscommon with it's home ground at Ardcarne Park. The Club colours are Green and Red.
