The St Michael's Intermediate Team continued their unbeaten winning run when they defeated Clann na nGael B at Kilbride GAA Grounds in the Quarter Finals of the Roscommon Intermediate Championship on Saturday last. St Michael's started the game well and early points from Austin Duignan, Kevin Mc Dermott, Keith Hogg and Ronan Cox, had St Michael's leading 0-08  0-02, with twenty minutes of the first half gone. Then Clann got a goal and for the remaining minutes of the first half, Clann got a grasp on the game, to finish out the first half stronger. Half time score St Michael's 0-08 Clann na nGael B  1-03. In the second half, Clann drew level around the twenty minute mark and then edged ahead. A Ronan Martin free pointed and another point from play combined with another by a Paul Simon free, to extend the St Michael's lead to two points.
