Club Members Meeting

St Michael’s are having a club members meeting on Monday 6th of March at 8pm in the club meeting rooms. 

It would be great to have as many there as possible!

 

 

Community Games

Ardcarne Community Games got their 2023 year off to a flying start this weekend with the Indoor soccer competition. We had 3 teams taking part. U10 Boys and U13 Girls and Boys. All 3 teams played with excellent soccer skills and sportsmanship. The boys teams' were unlucky as they came up against very tough competition. The girls team won their semi final and earned themselves a place in the final against strokestown on Sunday morning. Unfortunately for the girls after a very tough hard fought game it wasn't to be their day. The girls however, took home very shiny silver medals and can proudly say that they are the 2nd best Indoor Soccer team in Roscommon Community Games.

LGFA

The under 16 girls beat Shannon Gaels in their first league game.

 

The  junior girls team play Strokestown at home on Sunday next.

 

All girls must be registered by 31st March 2023

 

Gaelic for Mothers and Others

Open evening for 2023 on Monday 27^th February at 8.45pm at Ardcarne Park, Cootehall.

It’s open to all ladies, all fitness levels, no experience is needed, it is for fun and exercise!

 

St Michaels Membership 2023

It is time to register for playing in the 2023 season. All players musy register through foireann.ie

St Michaels have not increased their prices for the 2023 season, with membership being one of the most affordable in the county.

We would ask all members registering that if at all possible to include the Lotto option in their membership package as this is a key source of revenue for the club which feeds into several other areas of the club.

To incentivise this, we are going to have two draws this year for club members with the Lotto membership to win hampers at Easter and Christmas.

Those wishing to avail of the club's facilities/gym in a non-playing membership may do so for €60, while there are also membership options available for cultural and social areas such as Scor for €10.

As ever, club members will be able to choose to pay in instalments.

The club is setting a deadline of April 1^st by which membership must be paid by (excluding those paying in instalments). Players are not insured to use facilities, train or play in matches if not registered and this will be communicated to all team managers.

If anyone requires any assistance at this time, please let us know. Enquires will be dealt with in the strictest of confidentiality.

 

Ardcarne Park Community Complex

The main hall at Ardcarne Park Community Complex is available for hire at a rate of €10 per hour. Bookings can be made by contacting 087 6181248. Ardcarne Park Development Committee wish to thank all patrons for their patience and understanding during recent and ongoing upgrades to the facility.

 

Lotto

The lotto draw took place on 19^th February and the number drawn were 6, 9, 21, 22. There was no winner and no match three. The two lucky dips winners of €50 each are Johnny & Donna Kiernan and Sean Farrell.

The next draw will take place on March 5^th and the jackpot is €6,200. You can play in local outlets and online at lottoraiser.ie/StMichaels.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
