St Michael’s Community Quiz Night

Shake off those Christmas cobwebs and come on down to the friendly quiz in Clancys, Knockvicar, on Saturday 4th February to test your knowledge against your neighbours - €20 per table!

This event is not a fundraiser instead all monies taken in will be given back as prizes on the night! St Michael’s will also be sponsoring a door prize.

So, make sure to come down to see people from the local community and enjoy the event!

 

Scor na bpaisti will take place in Elphin Hall on February 10th. This is for primary school children ONLY. The categories are Solo singing, Ballad group (max 5 people) and instrumental music.

 

Scor Na Nog Semi-finals for Under 17s takes place on Saturday March 11th in Kilmurray Hall. County finals are on March 25th in Elphin.

Categories are figure dancing, Solo singing, Recitation, Ballad Group (max 5 people), Question Time,Novelty Act ,Instrumental Music and Set Dancing .

Closing date for entry is February 24th.

Lotto-The lotto draw took place on January 22nd and the numbers drawn were 4,8,12,22.. Results not available at time of going to press.

Tickets on sale at lottoraiser.ie/StMichaels and in local outlets. The next draw takes place on February 5th. Your support is greatly appreciated.

 

Sympathy

The Club extends its sympathy to the Cryan family, Cootehall on their recent bereavement and to the Blackwell family, Crossna on their recent bereavement.
