Update 3/3/19

Our Minors played their second league game on Sunday morning last when they made the trip to Loughlynn to play the Eire Og/Michael Glaveys combination. The lads worked hard in the first half and lead by 2-5 to 1-4. They built on this lead in the second half to finish winners on a scoreline on St Michaels 5-13 Eire Og/Michael Glaveys 1-9.

Last weekend our u16s travelled to Castlerea to play the home side in their first league game. Our lads lead by 3 points at half time and played well in the second half to win by St Michaels 3-14 Castlerea St Kevins 3-4. Our 16s next league game is against Elphin-Ballinameen next Sunday 10th March in Ardcarne Park.

Our Junior ladies play their first ever match at home to Roscommon Gaels at 11am and would very much appreciate your support for this historic game.

Our Ballad group of .Annmarie Harte, Ilsa Lubbers, Mark Stanley, Michael Duignan and Paul Blackwell represented the club so well at Scor last weekend. Mark Stanley represented St. Michaels in Solo singing. Thank you to everyone who participated and those who travelled to support.
Patricia Hunt, Patricia O’Hara, Padraic Hunt and Kevin Guckian came third in the Quiz. We also put in a 2nd team of Martin Conlon, Tommy Martin and Geraldine Mc Morrow.
Well done to our neighbours St. Ronan’s who won the instrumental music and will represent Roscommon in the Connaught finals. We wish the very best of luck to them.

The Lotto draw took place on the 24/02/2019 and the numbers drawn were 2, 7, 20 and 27. There was no Jackpot winner with Emma Fallon and the Moore family sharing the match three. The next draw takes place in the Bogside on the 10/03/2019 with a new jackpot of €5400.00.

The club wishes to extend its deepest sympathy to Shivnan and Morahan families on their recent bereavements
