Our u12 Division 3 team were crowned Roscommon champions after a great game against Castlerea, St Kevins on Saturday last. The sides went in at half time level at 0-8 each and the entertainment continued in the second half. However, our lads showed great belief, fine teamwork and took some excellent points to emerge winners in the end on a score-line of St Michaels 0-19 to 0-17. Well done to the entire u12 panel, their parents and the management team. Commiserations to a gallant Castlerea St Kevins team.

Our u12 Division 5 team lost out to St Brigid’s in their Shield Semi Final on Sunday last. Thanks again to all the players and the parents for travelling to the game.

The club would like to offer it’s thanks to each and every member of our Junior Team for their commitment and resolve over the past year. It hasn’t been the easiest year but they showed great loyalty and dedication to the club and it is greatly appreciated. We would like to wish those who picked up injuries this season a speedy recovery and look forward to next year. Also, a huge thanks to the teams manager Stephen Sheerin and his team for their hard work and assistance throughout the season and indeed all who have helped out in any way at all. St Michaels Abu!

Well done to Fiachra Henry and Andrew Tiernan who were on the Carrick on Shannon Community School team which defeated Ballinamore Community School in the Leitrim Senior Schools final on Wednesday night last.
Well done to Andrew Tiernan, Brian O Dowd and Jim Harte who were members of the Roscommon u16 team which played Laois in the Fr Manning Cup on Saturday last.

The Club AGM will be held on the 2nd of December 2018 at 2pm in the complex.

Heartiest congratulations to Francis & Agnes Dowd on the birth of their baby son Killian.
