Club Notes 16/09/18

Our senior team had a successful evening against Roscommon Gaels, in front of good home support they exhibited great determination and team work to come out with a comprehensive win. We would like to thank Brenda Sweeney and her young local musicians for beautifully kicking off proceedings with the National Anthem and thanks to all who stewarded and volunteered in any way. The pitch and facilities looked great. We would also as a club like to wish a speedy recovery to Cathal McGuinness who picked up an injury during the match.

Our u12 Division 3 team continued their winning run last week. They beat Elphin Ballinameen away on Monday on a score-line of St Michaels 0-14 Elphin-Ballinameen 0-6. On Thursday last they beat Castlerea St Kevins away in a very competitive game on a score of St Michaels 0-14 Castlerea St Kevins 0-13. They play Kilmore on this Wednesday in Kilmore at 6.30pm.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Seamus Blackwell from his recent injury and we hope to see you back playing again soon.

Our U. 14 ladies team which include girls from both Ardcarne and Kilronan parish are in the Div 3 A County Final on Sunday. They play Four Roads. These young ladies need and deserve our support so please come out if you can.
Best of luck to the Girls and Management.
