Club Notes 13/05/2018

History was made last Monday in Tarmonbarry, when our St Michael's U16 Girls from Ardcarne and Kilronan parishes joined together to beat Oran in a tightly contested U16 County final. This is the first time for our Ladies club to win a county title since its formation.  Congratulations and well done to the girls who showed fantastic skill and fight to get us over the finish line, it was heart stopping. There were major celebrations afterwards with a large following from both parishes who came out to support the girls. Many thanks to you all. A major congratulations go to their management team of Eddie Heslin. Harry Rynn. Joan Tiernan and Pat Mc Tiernan who with their guidance and support brought this team to this historic win. Thanks to St Michael's for treating the team to Supermacs afterwards, much appreciated. Thanks to the team sponsors Mc Guinness Centra and Timber County Wood Flooring. Thanks also to Aileen Daly for all her hard work and commitment to our Ladies Club.
